Baharpur Union Parishad of Baliakandi Upazila of Rajbari has announced the budget for the financial year 2023-2024 Union Parishad Chairman Md. Rezaul Karim.


He announced the budget of Tk 2 crore 21 lakh 63 thousand 606 in the hall of Union Parishad on Saturday (May 27) morning.


Secretary of the Union Parishad Abdul Momen Molla said that the budget announced for the financial year 2023-2024 includes Tk 52 lakh 62 thousand 70 in the revenue sector and Tk 1 crore 69 lakh 1 thousand 536 in the development sector.


Member of Ward No. 5 of Baharpur Union Parishad Md. Khalilur Rahman Biswas, Member of Ward No. 8 Md. Murad Biswas, Women Member of Ward No. 1,2 and 3 Shirina Akhtar Beauty and others spoke at the budget announcement ceremony.


All the members of the Union Parishad and local dignitaries were present at this time.


During the budget announcement, Baharpur Union Parishad Chairman Md. Rezaul Karim said, this is my 13th budget announcement. Every budget announcement I try to present a people friendly budget. The budget we prepare always keeps the people of our union in mind.
